Discovering the Magic of the Island of Seagulls

Discovering the Magic of the Island of Seagulls

Full description

We will embark at the river dock in Santa Giulia, a characteristic village near Porto Tolle, overlooking the Po di Gnocca.  Our journey takes us toward the river mouth to visit the Sacca degli Scardovari, the realm of the “verace clam” rich in wildlife. We will push onward to the point where the river completes its course and meets the sea, weaving through a labyrinth of reeds to the 'Isola dei Gabbiani' sandbar. Here, you will enjoy an aperitif before our return. Throughout the excursion, expert guides will reveal the history and unique landscape of the Po Delta.
