Glass of wine in hand, our experience begins as we set out to discover, at sunset, one of the most enchanting landscapes of the Po Delta.
Sailing through the Nature Reserve at the Mouth of the Po di Volano, landscape and taste reveal themselves together, step by step. Between one sip of Vini delle Sabbie - a distinctive wine born from the sandy soils of the Delta - and the next, our gaze wanders across dense reed beds and the coastal pine forest that traces the shoreline, while the Torre della Finanza, an 18th-century watchtower, tells the story of the strategic role this branch of the river has played for centuries. Continuing on towards the river mouth, we make our way into the Sacca di Goro, until the river finally meets the sea.
Back at Oasi Canneviè, the experience comes full circle: the tasting continues with local specialities, in a pairing that captures the true flavour of this land.
